this school year--post 1
After spending a lot of time, energy and money deciding what it is I want to do in life--I have reached a zen. I realize I deeply enjoy the relationship and trust you get to build with your students when you are just an aide. With my own little nugget at home I am excited to completely submerse myself in my greatest passions--my family, the work that I do with children and the work that I do for my creative self. Its hard to balance it all. My goal was to really focus on the baby this year--her very first year. My first year as a mom and our first year as this new-same-different-family. As an aide I will be able to be able to feel great satisfaction from creating environments for students that inspire curiosity, wonder and awe. Answering each question with another question and allowing them the time for all the important work that is childhood.
I want to document my ideas and what the children do with them. I want to show everyone just how awesome it is to an aide.
